What is your role at c|Life?

My role at c|Life is to serve as the Community/ Public Ministry representative. I have the opportunity to take c|life to the community, taking “church” outside of these 4 walls. As I serve in this role I seek ways for our congregation to serve our community from working at a shelter to serving your neighbor, or serving coffee on Sunday morning to greeting you at the door. I also have the opportunity to assist other ministries at c|Life in areas of community relations.

Family?

Bob and I have been married for over 23 years and have 3 children. Lauren is a junior at Texas A&M, Andrew is a freshman at Richland College and Kara is a freshman at MHS?

What song best describes you when you first wake up in the morning?

“Shine” by Salvador!

What was your dream job when you were a kid?

My dream job as a child was to be a news reporter, a lawyer or a nurse.

New York and Company

Colossians 3:23 - “Whatever you do , work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
 

Have you ever cried in a movie? If so, which one?

Yes, I’ve cried in several movies. Most recent I cried in The Blind Side & The Book of Eli.

What is your favorite TV series?

LOST, 24, and So You Think You Can Dance

My Prayer for c|Life?

My prayer is that we will be a community of believers that connect people to areas of service using their gifts and talents that God has blessed them with, then seeing life transformation as they grow in Christ while serving Him and others.

What is the best advice someone has given you?

Seek to understand first before being understood.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?

If I could travel anywhere: Italy, or some place in the Caribbean on the beach and I’m always up for a trip to New York!

If you woke up and all of the sudden you were in a Disney movie, which character would you be?

I would have to say Pocahontas or Jasmin, but I love Snow White!!!
