Phillip Grylls

What is your role at c|Life?
Is to be a partner with parents in teaching their kid(s) about God's truths. And to make as many things as possible out of foam board.

Family?
There is Mindy, my beautiful and supportive wife, Payton my princess, Hudson and Landon "the Twins", Buddy, Tootles, Ollie and Snow.

What song best describes you when you first wake up in the morning?
"Should I Stay Or Should I Go?" by The Clash

What was your dream job when you were a kid?
To join G.I.Joe. I know it's silly because you can't really join, you have to be invited!

What clothing store best describes you?
The Gap, because there is something missing in my clothing selections. I think it's the 7th sense, sense of style.

Favorite Verse?
Job 2:10 - Job learned a lot of tough lessons from God, but basically, should we not accept good and adversity from God?

Have you ever cried in a movie? If so, which one?
We need a working definition of crying. Just because clouds fill with water, it's not rain till it leaves the cloud right? I mean, it has been very dusty in some theaters and triggered eye irritations during parts of the movie. And I have spoken to the theater managers regarding this issue several different times. During The Blind
Side was the last time that I recall it happening. I don't think I ever cried though.

What is your favorite TV series?
MacGyver. He taught me the value of resourcefulness. I can't look at a pile of stuff without thinking of how I could turn it into a welder.

My Prayer for c|Life?
I pray that we would have the wisdom to help others build or move their relationships with God, that we  would increase in our knowledge of and experiences with Him.

What is the best advice someone has given you?
"Go for the brunette! Dude, she is so checking you out!" (The brunette is now my wife, and that is exactly how it was said ...... I'm pretty sure.)

If you woke up and all of the sudden you were in a Disney movie, which character would you be?
Pride and delusion make me hope for Captain Jack Sparrow with sword play and cool boats. Work experience would put me as Peter Pan with the Lost Boys flying around Never Land in green tights. And oddly, I'm ok with that.
