What is your role at c|Life?

My role at c|Life is to serve as the Community/ Public Ministry representative. I have the opportunity to take c|life to the community, taking “church” outside of these 4 walls. As I serve in this role I seek ways for our congregation to serve our community from working at a shelter to serving your neighbor, or serving coffee on Sunday morning to greeting you at the door. I also have the opportunity to assist other ministries at c|Life in areas of community relations.

When did you start working at c|Life?

I started with c|Life from the start.

Tell us about your family.

My husband, Bob, and I have been married for 26 wonderful years and we have 3 children, Lauren (23), Andrew (21), and Kara (17), as well as many other children who have graced our door and home. We often say in our home we are a party of five and "one more". Our family is definitely an adventurous one. We enjoy traveling and doing outdoor activities from the likes of hiking Camelback Mountain to zip-lining through rain forests, riding bikes, as well as snorkeling in the ocean or just chilling on the beach.

What are your hobbies?

I like to do anything outdoors. I enjoy sports, family activities, and a good book (especially anything by Francine Rivers).
 

What's something most people don't know about you?

While running track in high school, I ran the 100m in 11.52. I so wish I could do that again.

What are your top 3 movies of all-time?

Wizard of Oz, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and The Holiday

If you could wake up tomorrow and gain one superpower, what would it be?

Invisibility

What is your favorite vacation spot?

Any place tropical, but I also love going to Disney with my family....and New York.

What would an awesome "night on the town" in DFW look like for you?

Dinner at Trulucks and a Dallas Summer Musical.

It's a variety! Anything John Mayer, U2, Bruce Springsteen, Jon McLaughlin, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Boyce Avenue, and Praise & Worship

Christmas at Disney

If your life was made into a movie, what would it be?

It was once said to me that I'm Pocahontas and my husband is John Smith. So I guess I would say "Pocahontas".

College - A&M, NFL - Eagles, MLB - Yankees, Rangers, Phillies, NBA - Mavericks, NHL - Stars, Flyers

What is your favorite memory at c|Life (so far)?

IMPACT my Community, and how everyone pitches in to serve and love on our community.
