What is your role at c|Life?

Director of Children's Ministry (K-6th grade) - I work with a great group of dedicated volunteers who invest weekly to teach our kids core values and virtues that are biblically based.  Outside of Sunday morning there's many family centered activities during the year including things like Daddy Daughter Dance, Mom Son Nerf Night, Pre-teen Camp, and mini-camp.

Family?

Chad and I have been married for 26 years and have a 21 year old son named Austin, a 13 year old son named Tyler.  We also raised two of my nephews named Dustin and Brandon so I am surrounded by boys.  Lucy, our basset hound, is my equalizer.

What song best describes you when you first wake up in the morning?

It would be something like "Coming Out of the Fog" but I can't find a song with that title, so if we can advance to after about 8:30 in the morning I can go with "Let's Get it Started".

What was your dream job when you were a kid?

I wanted to be a police detective until I was 15.  In high school I got involved in music theater and thought I wanted to teach in that field.

What clothing store best describes you?

Hobby Lobby - I have lots of interests.

Proverbs 3:5-6

Have you ever cried in a movie? If so, which one?

Not many push me to tears but Stepmom comes to mind as a tear-jerker for me.

What is your favorite TV series?

Any top cop show solving murders.

My Prayer for c|Life?

My prayer is that we can help parents gain understanding of the need for spiritual nurturing in the home and develop an effective partnership with them that continually builds to strengthen the home and family.

What is the best advice someone has given you?

Chad (hubby) always encourages me with "everything is going to be ok" if I feel overwhelmed. Not necessarily advice but it's what I need in the moment.

If you could travel to anywhere in the world right now, where would it be?

I would like to go to Germany and Ireland.

If you woke up and all of the sudden you were in a Disney movie, which character would you be?

Fairy Godmother - my family said because I always make things better.
